Understanding Aligners
A sequence of clear, removable trays that move your teeth a fraction of a millimetre at a time. Planned and monitored by an MDS orthodontist, not ordered from a website.
Your case is assessed at consultation and you are told plainly whether this treatment is right for you, exactly what it involves, and what it costs, before anything begins.
What to expect
Specialist assessment
Dr. Hadi examines your bite, takes scans and photographs, and confirms whether aligners can achieve what you want.
Digital treatment plan
Your tooth movement is mapped tray by tray, so you see the projected outcome before you commit to anything.
Tray sequence
You collect your trays in batches and change them on schedule, checking in with the clinic every few weeks.
Retention
Once the teeth are in position, a fitted retainer holds them there. This step is not optional.
Why patients choose Mir’s for Aligners
Nobody has to know
The trays are transparent and sit flush against the teeth. Most patients tell colleagues weeks later, if at all.
You take them out to eat
No food restrictions, no popcorn rules, no brackets to clean around. You brush and floss exactly as you always have.
Planned by a specialist
Dr. Mir Hadi Faisal holds an MDS in Orthodontics. Every tray sequence is designed against your own scans and reviewed in person, which is what separates a clinical course from a mail-order kit.
Priced for your case
Every case is different, so the fee is set by the doctor once they have examined you. Competitive with other specialist practices in Islamabad, written down before treatment, and it does not move.
Your fee
Confirmed after your consultation
Fees are competitive with other specialist practices in Islamabad and are confirmed in writing by the doctor after your consultation, before any treatment begins.
What affects cost
The exact cost depends on the complexity of your case, the materials required and the number of teeth involved. You are given a written quote after your examination, before any commitment.
Before & after your treatment
Before Treatment
- ›Come in for a full assessment first. Not every case suits aligners, and we will tell you if braces are the better answer
- ›Any active decay or gum disease is treated before movement begins
- ›Scans and photographs are taken at the planning visit
- ›Plan for 20 to 22 hours of wear per day. Aligners only work while they are in
After Treatment
- ›Switch to the next tray on schedule, usually every 7 to 14 days
- ›Rinse trays in cool water. Hot water warps them permanently
- ›Mild pressure for the first day of each new tray is normal and means it is working
- ›Wear your retainer after the course finishes, or the teeth will drift back
Common questions about Aligners
Are aligners as effective as braces?
For crowding, spacing and mild to moderate correction, yes. Severe bite problems and complex rotations still respond better to fixed braces. Dr. Hadi will say plainly which one your case needs.
How much do clear aligners cost in Islamabad?
It depends on how many trays your case needs, which is why we do not quote from a list. Our fees are competitive with other specialist practices in Islamabad, and Dr. Hadi confirms your exact figure in writing after the assessment.
Does it hurt?
There is firm pressure for roughly 24 hours after each new tray, which patients describe as tightness rather than pain. It settles quickly.
Can I take them out for a wedding?
Yes, for a few hours. But the 20 to 22 hour daily target is what keeps the treatment on schedule, so make it the exception.
What happens if I lose a tray?
Tell us straight away. Depending on where you are in the sequence you either move to the next tray early or we order a replacement.
Do I need a retainer afterwards?
Always. Teeth have memory and will drift back within months without retention. Retainers are the cheapest insurance in dentistry.
